The 26th professional seminar with international participation titled “Current Issues in the Cultivation, Processing, and Use of Medicinal, Aromatic, and Spice Plants” took place at the Faculty of Horticulture, MENDELU in Lednice.

This traditional conference, organized by the Department of Vegetable and Floriculture Sciences of the Faculty of Horticulture MENDELU in cooperation with the association PELERO CZ, z. s., attracted nearly 70 participants from both the Czech Republic and abroad.

The program was spread over two days – the first day featured expert oral and poster presentations, while the second day was dedicated to an excursion to Sonnentor, s.r.o. in Čejkovice. Topics of this year’s edition included cultivation, biologically active substances, legislation, as well as processing and product quality of medicinal, aromatic, and spice plants.

The seminar was conducted in Czech, Slovak, and English, ensuring both comfort and professional exchange among all participants.
