On April 2–3, 2025, the Faculty of Horticulture at MENDELU hosted the 17th annual workshop “Meeting with Directors and Representatives of Secondary Schools.” The event focused on strengthening partnerships between the faculty, secondary horticultural schools, professional associations, and the horticultural industry. Participants exchanged up-to-date information, discussed opportunities for further collaboration, and presented completed and upcoming projects.
The workshop was held under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Horticulture at MENDELU, Prof. Ing. Patrik Burg, Ph.D., and was organized by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ing. Petr Salaš.
The first day of the workshop featured discussions on current topics in vocational education and collaboration with professional associations and industry representatives. The second day included a specialized excursion in the Lednice-Valtice area, providing participants with valuable insights into landscape and horticultural design. The event also offered informal discussions and opportunities for experience sharing.
