Applications, forms, questions

Studying at a university means having to deal with various administrative matters. To save you from getting buried under piles of papers, we have prepared for you the basic information on how to proceed in dealing with the most common issues in direct compliance with the currently valid Study and Examination Regulations of the Mendel University in Brno

With effect from 1 November 2020, the below listed individual applications shall be submitted only via the Contact Centre application (Personal administration → Student’s portal → Contact Centre → Seeking a solution).

For all the applications you will be using in communication with the Study Office of the MENDELU Faculty of Horticulture you need to observe the defined conditions for submitting that are always provided with the individual applications in the Contact Centre or are provided below on this page.

The valid Study and Examination Regulations does not accept certain requests that will not be met. These include mainly the following situations:

  • extraordinary remedial exam term (Article 17 of the valid Study and Examination Regulations);
  • possibility to repeat the study – semester, year, etc. (Article 17 of the valid Study and Examination Regulations);
  • possibility to change study programme or specialisation during a study – valid Study and Examination Regulations allows only for changing the form of study – full-time ↔ part-time (Article 16 of the valid Study and Examination Regulations);
  • changes in subject registrations for the current study period past a deadline defined in the current Schedule of the academic year of MENDELU Faculty of Horticulture (Article 13, Section 7).

If you need to sort out other study issues not specified here, always submit a General application – Personal administration → Student’s portal → Contact Centre → Seeking a solution →  000_Z: General Application.

All decisions and responses to the submitted applications are stored in the UIS under the Document storage.
