Who you can also ask for help

A guarantor of your study programme is an academic worker responsible for the course and quality of teaching of the given study programme. They supervise the course of the study, evaluate the study programme and develop it. They deal with any potential problems arising in connection with the teaching in the given study programme.

A guarantor of subject is responsible for the expert quality of the given subject, its content, and development. They are responsible for the accuracy and relevancy of information pertaining to the given subject in the UIS. They coordinate the activities of other lecturer and practice trainers who participate in the teaching. They report to the guarantors of the study programme regarding the course and quality of the teaching in order to fulfil the profile of the graduate and achieve the goals of the study.

Lecturers and practice trainers guide the students through the course of the study. Very often lecturers teach and practice train at the same time, but in some subjects these tasks are done by different persons. Lecturers and practice trainers deliver teaching, lecturing, supervise practical trainings or specialised seminars. For accuracy, relevancy and compliance with the latest knowledge in the field they report to the guarantors of subjects.

A grade teacher is a consultant who is there for you to always provide competent advice on common study matters. They understand most of the processes and organisation of the study, and through detailed knowledge of the faculty and university regulations they can help you by providing advice on various study situations you may encounter, or point you to another professional who will help you with specific issues.
