The Faculty of Horticulture at Mendel University in Lednice hosted the traditional charity event Cake for Hospice, which the faculty has long supported. Employees and students took part in the collection, contributing to the support of hospice and palliative care provided by the Břeclav Regional Charity.

The funds raised were handed over by the dean of the Faculty of Horticulture to representatives of the Břeclav Regional Charity. Everyone who personally participated in the collection received a sweet cake as a thank you, a symbol of help and solidarity with people who find themselves in difficult life situations.

“We are glad that we can contribute to the important work of hospice care with even a small gesture. We would like to thank all employees and students who participated in the event,” said the faculty management.

The faculty would like to take this opportunity to thank all donors for their generosity and support for the healthcare of the terminally ill.
