Ing. Tadeáš Hrušovský is currently a fourth-year PhD student at the Faculty of Horticulture, MENDELU, under the supervision of Prof. Lošák. The topic of his dissertation focuses on Horticultural Crops as a Tool for Sustainable Development in Developing Countries.
At the same time, he works as a research fellow and doctoral candidate at the Institute of Environmental Studies and Natural Resources, FRRMS, where he is involved in several research projects as well as teaching activities. In this role, he draws on his knowledge and experience gained from repeated stays abroad in Latin America (Ecuador, Peru) and Asia (the Philippines).
He regularly presents the results of his research at various conferences. With great pleasure, we can state that Ing. Tadeáš Hrušovský has been awarded the Best Presenter Award in the Climate and Sustainability category for the second consecutive year at the 6th International Multidisciplinary Conference for Young Researchers, organized by the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences at the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague.
Let us wish our faculty many more capable, hardworking, creative, and enthusiastic doctoral students who will want—and have the opportunity—to continue working at the faculty after successfully completing their PhD studies.
