The diploma thesis of our graduate Ing. arch. Marie Školová achieved outstanding success in a highly competitive and prestigious field! In the 26th annual Diploma Thesis Review organised by the Czech Chamber of Architects, a record number of 114 diploma theses in the fields of architecture, landscape architecture and urbanism were submitted this year.
Her thesis “Spoil Heaps and the City” (supervisor: Ing. Daniel Matějka, Ph.D.) received two awards: an Honourable Mention and the Special Award of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
This achievement is also a great recognition of the Landscape Architecture programme at the Faculty of Horticulture, MENDELU, as well as of our Department of Landscape Planning. Thank you and heartfelt congratulations!
